Ingredients
- Oil: 2tbsp
- Bay leaf: 2
- Black cardamom: 1
- Pepper: 5
- Clove: 3
- Onion: 1 large
- Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
- Tomato: 2
- Water: 3 cup
- Tea: 1 tsp
- Chilli powder: to taste
- Jeera powder: 1 tsp
- Chola masala: 1tbsp
- garam masala: 1 tsp
- Chole (soaked): 100 gms
- Salt
- Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
Procedure
- Boil 3 cups of water with 1 tsp tea and keep seperate
- Heat oil and slightly fry:
- Bay leaf: 2
- Black cardamom: 1
- Pepper: 5
- Clove: 3
- Fry onion till it becomes brownish
- Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and heat for till raw smell of ginger garlic goes
- Fry cut tomatos
- Mix the following and fry
- Chilli powder: to taste
- Jeera powder: 1 tbsp
- garam masala: 1 tsp
- Add soaked Chola and mix well
- Add salt and dhaniya powder
- Add tea water (strain the tea powder)
- Cook in the cooker for 5 whistles
