Ingredients
- Black Gram: 150 gms
- Onion: 1 large
- Tomato: 1 large
- Curry leaves
- Corriander leaves
- Chilli: 1
- Ounty Powder: 1 tbsp
- Mustard: 0.5 tsp
- Salt: to taste
Procedure
- Boil Black gram for 3 whistles. Do not throw the water.
- Heat oil and add mustard seeds, slit chilli and curry leaves
- Fry Onion till it becomes glassy
- Add Tomato and cook till it becomes mushy
- Add Ounty powder and fry for 30 secs
- Add the boiled black grams and the water from the boiling.
- Add salt to taste and cook for sometime.
- Add corriander for garnishing
