Ingredients
- Raw Banana : 1 (Average size.. what ever it means)
- Oil: 1 tbsp
- Grated Coconut: 3 tbsp
- Red chilli: 1
- Mustard: 0.5 tsp
- Urad Dal: 0.5 tsp
- Onion: 1 med size, Diced
- Curry leaves: 1 strand
- Coriander leaves: few chopped
- Salt: to taste
Procedure
- Boil raw banana in cooker with skin for 1 whistle
- Wait for it to cool and then peel the skin.
- Grate it finely and keep aside
- Prepare for tadka
- Heat oil.
- Add mustard and wait till it splutter
- Add urad dal, curry leaves and red chilli
- Fry onion till it becomes translucent
- Mix the tadka with grated banana
- Add salt to taste
- Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves.
